A registered nurse with telemetry expertise is sought for a travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, specializing in cardiac care within a telemetry unit. This role focuses on providing exceptional patient care during 12-hour night shifts, primarily managing patients with cardiac conditions and monitoring telemetry.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac conditions.
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips including Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem.
• Administer and monitor processes such as TR Bands post-procedure and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
• Float to all acute care units as needed.
• Participate in every other weekend rotation and work holidays based on unit needs, including Memorial Day and July 4th.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring quality patient outcomes.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
• Current Kansas RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience; 2-5 years preferred.
• Familiarity with cardiac drip management and telemetry monitoring.
• Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process preferred.
• Ability to float within acute care units.
Schedule
• 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), 3 days per week.
