You start by scanning comments and DMs Publishing Ops has flagged for your review. Some are simple approvals. Others need a judgment call on tone, timing, or whether a response should exist at all. You make the call, flag edge cases, and keep things moving. By mid-morning, you’re deep in content. AI helps you draft fast, but the work is in your edits focused on shaping the voice, tightening ideas, and making sure what goes out actually reflects the client and the moment. A post isn’t landing the way you expected? You don’t panic; you diagnose, adjust, and move forward. Throughout the day, Slack is active. Questions fly. Context gets shared. Someone jumps in to help unblock a client issue. Someone else drops a great insight that changes how a post is framed. It’s collaborative, fast, and very much all hands on deck.  You might hop into a client check-in, send an async update, or jump into a quick internal huddle to align on a launch or a pivot. Things change. Priorities shift. You’re expected to think on your feet and communicate clearly when they do. By the end of the day, you’ve written, decided, adjusted, and moved things forward. Not everything is perfect but it’s thoughtful, intentional, and shipped. You log off knowing you were trusted to make calls, supported when things moved fast, and part of a team that has each other’s backs. About the Role The Strategist is the day-to-day strategic owner for a set of client accounts. We are established as a change-maker in the parenting space and are looking for a strategist who gets the thrill of finding a snack your toddler will eat, an app that tracks your pregnancy history well, or a vitamin that keeps your chicken nuggets only kiddo getting their daily nutrients. This role is responsible for: - Understanding each client deeply - Writing copy with AI support - Making judgment calls about content and engagement - Maintaining client confidence and clarity This is not an entry-level posting role and not a project management role. Core Responsibilities 1. Client Strategy & Ownership - Own 6–8 client accounts as the primary strategic contact - Maintain deep understanding of each client’s brand voice, goals, sensitivities, and internal dynamics - Translate Director-level strategy into clear briefs and priorities - Decide when content “isn’t working” vs. when it needs refinement or time 2. AI-Assisted Copywriting (You Write — AI Helps) - Use AI tools to draft first-pass social copy across platforms - Edit and refine AI output for clarity, tone, accuracy, and brand fit - Adapt copy for different platforms and formats - Ensure copy aligns with content pillars and business goals You are expected to write copy. AI is a drafting partner, not a replacement for your experience and judgment. 3. Content & Community Judgment - Review and approve all content before it is published - Approve AI-drafted responses to comments and DMs - Decide whether and how to respond to community interactions - Handle nuance, tone, and sensitivity - Escalate legal, PR, or high-risk issues to Directors when necessary 4. Client Communication - Lead routine client communication (Slack, email, async updates) - Run assigned check-ins (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on client tier) - Maintain client calm, confidence, and trust - Clearly explain decisions and direction 5. Insight & Learning Loop - Track recurring feedback, questions, and approval patterns - Surface insights and recommendations to Directors - Contribute to QuimbyOS / Wimbly client memory and intelligence What This Role Does Not Do This role does not: - Manually post or schedule content regularly - Fix tool failures - Monitor inboxes all day - Assemble reports or dashboards from scratch - “Do more content” when results lag Those responsibilities live elsewhere by design. What We’re Looking For Required - 2–4 years experience in social media strategy or agency work - Strong writing and editing skills - Comfort using AI tools to draft and refine content - Sound judgment and decision-making ability - Ability to manage multiple clients calmly - Clear, professional communication - Experience working in the parenting/mom/baby space, with CPG and SAAS experience a bonus Preferred - Agency experience - Comfort working asynchronously - Interest in AI-assisted workflows Growth Path Strategist → Senior Strategist → Director of Strategy Or specialization into AI strategy, client intelligence, or product roles.
