Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Data Strategist who owns both analytics strategy and hands-on execution. This role is responsible for defining measurement approaches, building analytics and BI assets, and helping clients and internal teams use data to make informed decisions.
This is a client-facing role with significant execution responsibility. The expectation is that you can lead strategy discussions, design analytics approaches, and directly implement dashboards, data models, and analyses.
Responsibilities and Experience
-Analytics Strategy and Measurement (Required)
-Lead stakeholder discussions to translate business objectives into website KPIs and measurement goals
-Develop analytics and measurement strategies using GA4 and related analytics tools
-Produce analytics measurement plans across a range of digital properties including single-page applications, multi-site platforms, gaming environments, and connected devices
-Define metrics, tracking requirements, and reporting structures tied to business goals
-Provide guidance on analytics configuration, data modeling decisions, and reporting standards
-Experience designing measurement approaches rather than only consuming existing reports
Data, BI, and Technical Execution (Required)
-Build and maintain dashboards in Looker, Tableau, and Power BI
-Write SQL and work directly in BigQuery, Snowflake, and Funnel
-Create and maintain data models that support consistent reporting and analysis
-Work directly with raw and transformed datasets
-5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics strategy and execution
Analysis and Insight Delivery (Nice to Have)
-Analyze large datasets to identify performance trends, issues, and opportunities
-Answer specific business questions through structured analysis
-Translate data into clear insights for business and technical stakeholders
-Use customer and performance data to identify growth opportunities
Client Leadership and Consulting
-Lead analytics and data strategy engagements that may include customer data platforms, data onboarding, activation workflows, and analytics implementations
-Serve as the primary analytics subject matter expert for assigned clients and own multiple client relationships
-Partner with Solutions Architecture and Strategy teams to advise on data and analytics technology topics
-Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to design solutions involving data sources, platforms, integrations, and analytics
-Guide cross-functional teams through integration projects with competing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and tight timelines
-Provide expert consulting services and thought leadership to clients and prospective clients
Train clients on how to access, interpret, and use their data to support decision-making
Tools, Platforms, and Background
-Advanced knowledge of digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, or similar
-Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar
-Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems and data flows between platforms
-3+ years of experience working in a digital or advertising agency environment
-Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams while advising business stakeholders
-Organized, precise, and comfortable owning work from planning through delivery
