[Hiring] Senior Associate Healthcare Consultant @KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller)

Role Description KSM’s national healthcare consulting practice works directly with hospitals, health systems, medical practices, and other market participants. KSM’s practice is expanding and searching for a senior healthcare consultant who will: • Define analytic approaches and develop analytic understanding of client problems to identify issues and opportunities to motivate client action. • Provide analytical and implementation support to FQHC-LA clients. Responsibilities include: • Gather and refine complex data sets and data sources to enable accurate and robust quantitative analyses. • Provide insight into hypotheses under consideration and contribute to the team's understanding of the client's overall problem and potential solution. • Understand healthcare knowledge, trends, and experiences to highlight relevant implications for clients. • Engage with clients, including senior client administrators and physician leads, to ensure meaningful results are achieved and build ongoing relationships. • Provide analytical support to clients pursuing FQHC-LA strategy. • Provide advisory support to clients implementing FQHC-LA strategy. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred. • 2+ years of consulting experience or relevant healthcare experience required. • Operational experience in FQHC or FQHC-LA required. • Strong project management skills with experience working on multiple work streams. • Demonstrated collaboration, project management, problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. • Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop solutions that address client needs. • Experience working and leading in a team environment. • Strong communication skills both with internal team and external with clients and referral sources. • Vast experience with project tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access/Tableau or other data analytical tools. • Ability to travel (up to 50%).
