AAIA (www.aaiatech.org) is a federally registered non-profit organization. It promotes innovation and entrepreneurship via various webinars, events, and workshops. It aims to build a stronger innovation ecosystem in North America and globally. This is a non-paid, co-op/intern credit-only REMOTE position.
● Ideal for Interns, co-op, or volunteers seeking a high-quality experience to gain or enhance your working experiences
● Hiring multiple candidates for different positions in AAIA Committee
● Bilingual Requirement: English and Mandarin
• *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
● Collaborate with the event management and marketing teams in organizing innovation and entrepreneurship Webinar events and planning business development strategies
● Market research: Search, read, and share innovative articles to AAIA members and discuss industry trends with committee members
● Attend weekly team meetings, capture action items and key decisions, and write meeting minutes.
● Support AAIA event management, such as connect to supporting organizations, posters, and prepare event master PPT document as required
● Search for public or private funding available for nonprofit organizations and draft the funding applications as required
● Daily operation and maintenance of AAIA website, newsletters, WeChat accounts, and social media accounts (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.)
● Create and publish content on social media according to AAIA event recap information and other best practices
● Implement and deliver any other tasks as your supervisor requires.

● Passionate about Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and eager to learn new knowledge
● Highly responsible and reliable with strong project execution skills
● Proactively fix problems, improve processes, and propose new ideas
● Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks
● Experience with event management or social media management
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and graphic design software
● Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Mandarin
