I am seeking a crypto-literate forensic accountant / financial analyst to assist with structured asset reconstruction in a family law financial disclosure matter. This engagement involves reviewing bank records and cryptocurrency exchange activity to identify cash flows and gaps in accounting. Scope of Work
You will be provided with:
• Bank statements
• Crypto exchange transaction history
• Ethereum wallet transaction exports (CSV)
Your tasks will include:
• Reconstructing cash flows across all disclosed accounts
• Identifying total inflows and outflows over relevant periods
• Mapping transfers from:
- Bank → cryptocurrency exchanges
- Exchanges → external wallets
- Wallets → subsequent addresses (where traceable)
Identifying:
• Total value transferred out of disclosed systems
• Downstream destinations (where identifiable)
• Gaps where funds leave disclosed accounts with no corresponding receiving-side documentation
Any missing time periods or inconsistencies
Producing:
• Clear Excel schedules (cash flow summary + transfer mapping)
• A concise factual summary report (neutral, structured, no speculation)
This analysis may be reviewed by legal counsel so clarity and neutrality are essential.
Required Experience
• Forensic accounting or financial reconstruction experience
• Comfortable reconciling bank statements and exchange records
• Ability to interpret Ethereum / ERC-20 wallet transactions
• Methodical, evidence-based reporting style
• Clear written English
