**Key Responsibilities:**
* Order entry of electronic and faxed prescriptions via arenaflex's pharmacy software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing patient orders
* Respond to phone calls and troubleshoot issues with nursing staff in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions
* Adjudicate and troubleshoot rejected insurance claims, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers
* Collaborate with the fill floor team to process orders in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Accurately process prescriptions, calculate proper day supplies and quantities, and provide clear instructions to patients and caregivers
* Utilize problem-solving skills to provide accurate information and efficient solutions, ensuring patient satisfaction and loyalty
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws, protecting sensitive patient information
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (or equivalent in the state of Massachusetts) and good standing with the Board of Pharmacy
* 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail, long-term care, or hospital setting
* Basic math skills and ability to accurately calculate quantities and day supplies
* Open availability, including holidays and weekends
