Job Description:
• Responsible for assisting to maintain contract compliance as well as auditing the accuracy and timeliness of reports and plans in accordance with the Department of Labor (DOL) guidelines.
• Responsible for internal and external communications, developing strategies for communication improvement as well as project management for assigned areas.
• Complies with all Department of Labor guidelines, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Insights Training Group, LLC policies and procedures.
• Keeps current with all Department of Labor Job Corps Program policies and ensures contract compliance.
• Manage external communication channels for social media platforms, company website, media relations, and company newsletters.
• Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies.
• Collaborate with corporate and contract staff for business and community partnerships as well as workforce councils.
• Develop and maintain library of standard operating procedures, audits, assessments, policies, and other documents as required.
• Complete corporate assessments, organizes reports and monitor follow up.
• Reading and coordinating overall preparation of request for proposals.
• Setting and meeting deadlines for content development for request for proposals.
• Writes SOP’s and training modules to document operational processes to support effectiveness, efficiencies, and customer satisfaction, and to increase productivity and quality.
• Reviews SOP’s, Desktop Procedures, and other Center plans to ensure compliance and make changes, recommendations as necessary.
• Performs a variety of audit functions of Center, O/A and CTS contracts, to ensure quality and contract compliance with all company policies DOL requirements and/or other regulations.
• Monitors statistical performance and maintains accurate record keeping.
• Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate to maximize employee morale and productivity on each Center contract.
• Explores innovative initiatives to increase efficiency and supports corporate initiatives.
• Models, mentor, and monitors appropriate career, employability skills for dress, language, and work habits.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.
Requirements:
• At least two (2) years’ experience in Job Corps environment preferred.
• Above average public speaking skills and experience in same.
• Above average verbal and written skills.
• Above average problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Computer literacy, specifically Internet, email, Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work evening hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel regularly.
• Must possess intermediate computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior knowledge of social media marketing is preferred.
• Valid state drivers’ license.
