We are developing a wind turbine blade monitoring technology and are currently validating our system using drone inspection footage of wind turbine blades.
We are looking for experienced wind turbine blade technicians or inspection experts who can help us identify and label blade damages from drone images and videos.
The work will involve reviewing drone inspection data and classifying damage types and severity on the blades.
Examples of damages include:
Leading edge erosion
Cracks
Delamination
Lightning damage
Coating / paint defects
Other structural blade issues
Ideal candidates may have experience with:
Wind turbine blade inspections
Rope access blade inspection or repair
Drone inspection analysis for wind turbines
Blade maintenance or repair operations
Scope of work:
Review drone inspection images/videos
Identify and classify blade damages
Provide labeling or annotations for the detected damages
This will likely start as a small initial task, with potential for ongoing collaboration if the work aligns well.
