Role Overview
L.I.T.E. is seeking a Marketing Lead to own and execute our brand visibility strategy. This is a leadership-level volunteer position for someone who wants to build and shape the public presence of a growing nonprofit from the ground up.
This role has decision-making authority within scope.
Core Responsibilities
• Develop a focused 90-day marketing strategy aligned with annual organizational goals
• Create and manage a content calendar (social, email, promotional campaigns)
• Clarify and strengthen brand messaging and positioning
• Support promotion of events and partnership initiatives
• Track and report engagement metrics monthly
• Collaborate cross-functionally when initiatives overlap
Ideal Background
• Experience in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or digital marketing
• Ability to think strategically, not just execute posts
• Strong writing and messaging skills
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable in early-stage environments
• Passion for mission-driven work
