Position: Therap Training Coordinator (Part-Time)
Community Options, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization providing residential and community-based services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Therap Training Coordinator to support the effective implementation and ongoing training of the Therap Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across our organization.
This role is ideal for a technology-savvy professional who enjoys training others, analyzing systems, and driving continuous improvement.
Overview
• Schedule: 24 hours per week (flexible schedule). Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed
• Location: Can be based out of any Community Options local office nationwide
• Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor the Therap system to ensure operational and security integrity
• Respond to requests for information, assistance, and system support
• Deliver engaging, effective training to build user competency
• Conduct individual and group training sessions (in-person and remote)
• Perform training needs analyses across the organization
• Develop instructional materials including handbooks, multimedia aids, tutorials, and reference guides
• Evaluate employee progress during training periods
• Revise curriculum and training methods to improve effectiveness
• Ensure consistent system implementation across all regions
• Analyze system data and communicate trends to the Therap Administrator
• Identify system or process improvement opportunities and collaborate on quality improvement plans
• Conduct periodic visits to regional offices to support quality objectives
• Cooperate with licensing and regulatory inspections, inquiries, or investigations
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 1–2 years of related experience OR High school diploma with 7–10 years of related experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Therap EHR strongly preferred
• Experience with the Therap Electronic Record System preferred
• Marketing or digital arts background a plus
• Flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, evening availability required)
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and presentation skills
• Technological proficiency with web-based communication and virtual training platforms
