Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Perform manual testing including user acceptance testing (UAT), system testing, regression testing, and performance testing using LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Conduct API testing for RESTful web services using tools like Postman or SoapUI; analyze API responses to verify data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts during requirements gathering to understand project scope and identify potential risks early in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues through debugging techniques, root cause analysis, and system troubleshooting to identify underlying problems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, defect reports in tools such as Jira or HP ALM, and ensure quality standards are consistently met throughout release management cycles.
Skills
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in mobile testing on Android and iOS devices; familiarity with emulators/simulators for cross-platform validation.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML data formats; experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or SVN; understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PL/SQL; ability to perform data analysis skills for validating data integrity.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), load testing (LoadRunner), performance testing strategies, and system integration testing.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies; ability to gather business requirements effectively and translate them into test plans.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis; strong debugging abilities across various operating systems like Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), web services (REST/SOAP), cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
