About the position
Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks an Analyst, within the Global Credit & Financing Solutions complex, in New York, NY. The individual will play an integral role in the Lender Finance platform ($20bn + business in the US) and will contribute to collateral monitoring, asset approvals, portfolio management, interaction with clients and Bank syndicate members, and support origination efforts. Lender Finance encompasses all corporate credit risk within the ABS franchise, including transactions backed by middle market, broadly syndicated and venture loan portfolios to well-known US and global asset managers.

Responsibilities
• Assist with management of the Lender Finance portfolio; work on ad hoc projects as needed
• Participate in telephonic discussions with portfolio managers regarding asset approval requests; Stay informed of key trends related to high-risk industries and middle market and loan leverage market developments
• Review investment credit memorandums and prepare summaries of the potential investment along with corresponding risks & mitigants (memo to be shared with both front office and Credit Risk Mgmt)
• Monitor portfolio revaluation events / assess risk profile of these investments and make corresponding recommendations to front office and credit risk mgmt team
• Communicate with clients regarding portfolio related matters; Review quarterly reporting reports; Ensure portfolio compliance
• Help with preparation of internal reports for senior mgmt, including development of online monitoring through bank’s proprietary technology
Requirements
• Two (2) to five (5) years of formal credit training experience / credit underwriting with a nationally recognized Banking institution
• Experience with underwriting of both cash flow and asset based transactions
• Financial statement analysis
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication skills
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
