Software Engineer, Teamwork

About Us:

We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.

We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like OpenAI, Toyota, Figma, Ramp, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About the Role:

Teamwork's mission is to make Notion the best collaborative environment for knowledge work. To that end, our ambitious goal is to transform Notion into the first of its kind—a shared experience where teams, people, and AI create their life's work, together. Our team focuses on improving our users' most frequent interactions within the Notion app: navigating their workspace, discovering relevant information, and working together effectively. We maintain and iterate on key building blocks of the collaboration experience, including the sidebar, inbox, notification and digest emails, comments, home page, and more.

We are at a unique and exciting turning point in Notion's journey, with two foundational shifts in customer needs. On one hand, we are witnessing unprecedented growth in the scale and complexity of our users' content and collaboration requirements. On the other, we are reimagining from the ground up our users' workflows in the AI era. To address these challenges, we are taking a step back to rethink Notion's core information architecture and develop a new foundation that will support our users' needs for the next decade.

We are looking for passionate full stack product engineers to help us build this vision. In this role, you will directly contribute to core building blocks of Notion's user experience, and will be a key player in building a robust technical foundation that can scale to individual users and large organizations alike.
