Senior Talent Sourcer / Executive Research (Project-Based)

About the Role We’re looking for experienced, research-driven talent sourcers to support executive and advisor searches on a project basis. This is not a traditional recruiting role. We focus on identifying high-caliber operators, former executives, and subject matter experts who can contribute in advisory or fractional leadership capacities. What You’ll Be Doing • Build and execute search strategies based on defined project requirements • Identify and map talent across industries, functions, and adjacent backgrounds • Use LinkedIn and other tools to source candidates • Evaluate candidates for relevance, experience, and alignment to client needs • Deliver curated candidate lists, summaries, and research insights • Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving search direction What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of experience in executive research, sourcing, or recruiting • Strong experience using LinkedIn for candidate sourcing (Boolean search preferred) • Ability to go beyond obvious titles and identify non-traditional or adjacent candidates • Strong judgment when reviewing profiles (not just sourcing volume) • Clear written communication when summarizing candidates What Success Looks Like • High-quality candidate slates delivered efficiently • Candidates are well-aligned to the actual business need, not just the job title • Minimal rework due to misaligned profiles • Clear rationale behind why candidates were selected Why This Role is Different • More analytical and strategy-driven than typical recruiting • Exposure to senior-level executives and real business challenges • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact, often complex searches • Collaborative team environment with clear direction and feedback
