Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain the platform's infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to integrate cloud solutions and infrastructure into the product seamlessly.
- On-Call Duties: Be available for on-call responsibilities to address and resolve critical failures promptly, ensuring minimal service disruption.
- Automation and Process Improvement: Develop processes and automation strategies to reduce bottlenecks and dependencies, enhancing service continuity.
- Communication and Planning: Engage in effective communication with peers and managers, contributing to the infrastructure roadmap and sprint planning.
- Team Leadership: Show readiness and capability to grow and lead the infrastructure and DevOps team as the organization expands.
Essential Qualifications
- Extensive experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP) and cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in Linux systems (bash scripting, terminal skills, etc) and infrastructure security.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Practical experience scaling systems and working with SLAs on enterprise products.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Desirable Traits
- Familiarity with SoC2 and other certification processes.
- Practical knowledge of NodeJS, JavaScript, and NestJS.
- Practical knowledge of databases (SQL + PostgreSQL)
