Key Responsibilities

• Conduct working sessions with finance, operations, and engineering teams to produce budgets and forecasts that drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive optimization efforts and implement FinOps practices and methodologies.
• Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing insights that inform business decisions.
• Develop educational documentation and training materials to educate teams across the organization on cloud cost management and optimization.
• Produce presentations on initiatives, statuses, and other topics as needed, communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools and techniques.
• 4+ years of experience working with public cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven proficiency developing data-driven insights to support decision making.
• Excellent collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners.
• Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for analyzing large volumes of data.
• Commitment to safety and security, prioritizing the security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embracing diversity, welcoming diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, with authorization to work in the United States.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• Extensive knowledge of the AWS cloud computing platform, with experience developing forecasts in a public cloud environment.
• Cloud automation skills, with experience using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
