Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. symplr is focused on growing its footprint within acute and non-acute healthcare organizations, and they are seeking a Sales Associate to expand their customer base. The role involves managing the end-to-end sales cycle for transactional opportunities and executing outbound lead generation campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Targeted account focus – align with specific segments and growth targets
- Focus on acquiring new logo and cross sell business within smaller Enterprise, Premier or Non-Acute markets
- Execute on upsell/cross sell/new logo business in assigned segments within larger healthcare market
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify key accounts and tailor outreach strategies
- Execute follow-ups from marketing events, webinars, and internal lead lists
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new opportunities within target organization types and solution categories
- Partner with internal resources to ensure alignment on messaging, processes, and lead qualification standards
- Monitor and provide oversight on outbound campaign execution and lead management
- Participate in planning sessions for new initiatives and pipeline generation strategies
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle for smaller threshold opportunities, including opportunity creation, paperwork (SOW, OF, etc.), handling technical requests, pricing, and closing
- Lead small transactional sales such as license add-ons, change orders, and low-complexity expansions from existing customers
- Manage a pipeline of early, mid, and late-stage opportunities to drive results
- Assist with developing territory business plans to achieve quota, with a focus on expanding customer usage of symplr’s services and solutions
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales, lead generation, or business development role (preferably in healthcare SaaS or services)
- Proven track record in new logo prospecting and outbound outreach
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with outsourced or cross-functional teams
- Experience working with or within non-acute healthcare markets
- Understanding of lead qualification frameworks and sales funnels
