The Rating & Ratemaking Support Analyst will provide analytical support to various areas of the organization, ensuring the accuracy of rating plans and tools while collaborating with stakeholders to fulfill business processes and data requests.
Responsibilities
- Understands and contributes to the overall plan for projects/processes by coordinating requirements across various disciplines, providing formal documentation if needed and developing a recommended plan and timeline for assigned work
- Provides guidance for projects due to the state regulatory environment and specific regulations in order to make appropriate decisions
- Creates, updates and maintains various aspects incorporated and utilized in the Allstate rating plans, rating tools and/or ratemaking tools
- Partners with appropriate stakeholders to gather requirements and/or understands where to locate information in order to complete basic to moderate complexity processes
- Responds to questions for various stakeholders and independently performs basic to moderately complex ad-hoc data requests
- Independently performs testing and documentation, verifies quality through applications and review processes, and identifies inconsistencies in data and communicates with the appropriate stakeholder
- Autonomy to make daily decisions to meet accuracy standards, and to identify and resolve basic data issues
- Investigates and proposes process improvements that yield efficiency gains
