SUMMARY:
The Loan Officer Assistant’s primary role is to act as a liaison between Loan Officer, borrowers, and operation departments. The Loan Officer Assistant Assist ensures clear communication for a smooth closing transaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the collection of missing documentation for completion of loan file from borrowers
- Work with the Processor and Loan Officer to collect documentation to clear conditions
- Update Loan Officer on status of conditions and copy Loan Officer on borrower correspondence and requests for documentation
- Structure file for processing in Encompass
- Perform basic office functions including, taking phone calls, scheduling meetings for the Loan Officer, faxing, making copies, data entry, etc.
- Run reports for the Loan Officer to monitor monthly productivity
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years prior mortgage or mortgage banking experience
- Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent phone and service skills
Pay is $24.04 per hour/50 bps on Personal Production
This position will be considered an employee of the Waukesha, WI branch, working a hybrid schedule in Middleton, WI.
