About Blue Pinecone Consulting Blue Pinecone Consulting is a boutique training and coaching consultancy that offers coaching, coaching training for managers, leadership development skills trainings, and leadership and career development events. We also deliver content and mentoring for other International Coaching Federation certified coaches, like mentor coaching and a coaching job board. Located in the DMV area, we are looking to grow beyond the federal government clientele and need your help to do it! About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and research-savvy professional (or advanced graduate student) to support the design and development of a career coaching training program intended for accreditation through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This role blends research, instructional design, and program development. You will help translate vision into structure—ensuring the curriculum, assessments, and documentation align with ICF accreditation standards while maintaining a strong, practical focus on career coaching impact. This is an ideal role for someone interested in coaching, adult learning, curriculum design, or credentialing frameworks. Key Responsibilities ICF Accreditation Research • Analyze core competency alignment requirements with the Level-One and CCE ICF accreditation pathways • Create clear internal summaries of ICF requirements and decision points Curriculum & Program Design Support • Assist in drafting learning objectives aligned with ICF Core Competencies • Map curriculum modules to required competencies and ethics standards • Support development of participant materials, facilitator guides, and assignments • Research and implement best practices in adult learning and experiential training design Documentation & Systems • Organize accreditation documentation • Develop tracking systems for required training hours and mentor coaching components • Support development of evaluation and feedback tools Strategic Input • Provide recommendations for program structure and sequencing • Identify differentiation opportunities within the career coaching niche • Research competitor programs and market positioning Qualifications Required • Strong research and synthesis skills • Excellent written communication • Experience organizing complex information into structured documents • Familiarity with coaching, adult learning, or professional development Preferred • Knowledge of ICF and coaching • Background in instructional design, curriculum development, or higher education Ideal Candidate You are: • Systems-oriented and detail-focused • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Excited by building something from the ground up • Interested in the intersection of coaching, career development, and professional standards
