Job Description:
• Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects
• Creation of work plans and task definitions under general direction
• Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex and unique assignments including survey, design, development, and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects
• Responsible for ICT design and consulting for Data Centers, Healthcare Facilities, Government Facilities, Commercial Facilities, Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
• Perform specific and/or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants
• Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures
• Work on detailed and/or routine design and/or consulting assignments
• Propose solutions to solve new and/or complex problems encountered
• Provide guidance and direction to internal mid-level consultants and production staff
• Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university plus 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification or other active BICSI Certification.
• Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
• A security clearance is preferred but not required (potential/desire to obtain a security clearance is required).
• Minimum 5 years of design experience with ICT infrastructure
• Professional experience and/or proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and other ICT Specific Programs.
• Professional experience and/or proficiency in Codes Standards and regulations including Permitting, State & Local Ordinances, IEEE – C2 Standard (National Electrical Safety Code), OSHA - 1910 Standards, TIA – Cabling Standards, TIA – Data Center Standards and BICSI – TDMM and other Manuals.
