Full-color illustrations for story book for children ages 0-2 years old, approximately 20 pages, plus front cover and back cover illustrations. This is a story about an infant and family who go to the Zoo and interact with lots of fun animals. The manuscript will be supplied. All information will be kept confidential by both parties until the book is published.
The illustrations should be fun, silly, and quirky. Inspirational style is drawn from artist Mary Engelbreit. Other styles we prefer may include digital art as: bold and bright, cartoonish, vintage, whimsical, fantasy, or wondrous. Once the illustrator is paid, all artwork will become the property of Queen Bee Publisher, with the right to edit as needed and publish in other formats (such as a coloring book).
We will begin with a paid sample for $40 and if we like your illustration, we will pay $800 to illustrate the entire story book. If we are happy with the illustrations and your price, in the future we may hire you to illustrate other story books in the series.
