We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst or Data QA Specialist to conduct a rigorous "audit" of the data accuracy on Edwyn.app, a financial intelligence platform focused on Enterprise Value (EV) calculations and stock comparisons.
Your goal is to "stress-test" the app by visiting random company profiles and comparing Edwyn’s calculated outputs against established financial platforms (e.g., Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha, YCharts) and primary SEC filings (10-Ks/10-Qs).
Scope of Work:
Random Sampling: Navigate through various public company tickers (Large Cap, Mid Cap, and Small Cap).
Data Cross-Referencing: Compare the following metrics on Edwyn against at least two other reputable sources:
Market Cap & Share Count: Ensure live pricing and diluted shares outstanding are accurate.
Debt & Cash Components: Verify if the "EV Bridge" is correctly capturing Total Debt and Cash/Equivalents.
Financial Multiples: Audit the EV/EBITDA and P/E ratios.
UI/UX Edge Case Testing: Identify if any specific sectors (e.g., Financials or REITs) cause the valuation models to break or display illogical data.
Reporting: Provide a spreadsheet highlighting any discrepancies found, including the ticker, the specific data point, the "correct" value found elsewhere, and a link to the source.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of Corporate Finance (specifically how Enterprise Value is calculated).
Experience navigating SEC EDGAR filings.
High attention to detail (you are looking for small discrepancies in millions/billions).
Prior experience in Fintech QA or Equity Research is a major plus.
Deliverables:
A completed Audit Spreadsheet
A brief summary report of "Accuracy Confidence" (e.g., "The app is 98% accurate on Large Caps but struggles with debt adjustments on Small Caps").
