You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and welcoming store while delivering exceptional customer experiences. No experience? No problem! We'll teach you the skills you need to succeed in this role. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs. * Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws. * Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products. * Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs. * Additional duties may include cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. **Essential Qualifications** * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or food service environment. * Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system. * Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures. * Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
