Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from customers who have accrued reward points to purchase products or book travel. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a positive experience for our clients' customers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a yes environment, where you will have the authority to assist customers with tracking shipments, cancelling orders, refunding reward points, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from customers who have questions or concerns about their reward points, shipments, or travel bookings
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist customers with tracking shipments, cancelling orders, refunding reward points, and addressing damaged shipments
- Help customers navigate the website to purchase products or book travel using their accumulated points
- Book flights, car rentals, activities, and cruises for customers using their reward points
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences and achieve team goals
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma (HSD) or General Educational Development (GED) certificate, which must be listed on your resume
- At least 6 months of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Exceptional phone and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and daylight savings time (DST)
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in a yes environment, where you had the authority to make decisions and take actions to resolve customer issues
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other call center technologies
- Experience working with customers in the banking or financial services industry
