Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our Walgreens DPS team. As a key member of our collaborative team, you'll play a critical role in driving success by executing medical services procedures and promoting patient well-being results. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
- Drive the execution of multiple field-tested strategies and initiatives to ensure business needs are being met.
- Drive consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, assessing, and re-engineering processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
- Ensure regional pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
- Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial objectives.
- Carry out and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
- Uphold efforts on improving patient experience by expanding focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient counseling, medication management, drug treatment reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leaders.
- Support staff training experiences and development opportunities.
- Advances collaboration and promotes pharmacy staff by encouraging a shared vision and supporting company strategies, methodologies, mission, values, and guidelines of ethics and integrity.
- Conducts data and clinical audits and making necessary moves to ensure accuracy and propriety of medications.
- Reviews medication records and patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe medication treatment.
- Provides individualized patient/supplier conference.
- Through utilization of prevalent relational skills, wins the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board to the pharmacy concerns.
- Provides feedback concerning the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program including remarks from patients as the value of individual conferences.
- Responsible for all inquiries, exchanges, and issues which relate directly to patient treatment.
- Provides clinical interview and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans on a case-by-case basis.
- Performs other work related to the job duties in this document as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications
- Current pharmacist license as allowed by the relevant state licensing authority.
- Experience in promoting colleagues to research and resolve issues.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/scheduling and following details and meeting time constraints of multiple tasks with varying completion dates.
- Experience creating ways to achieve objectives with minimal oversight, relying on oneself to complete targets and it is necessary to decide when acceleration of issues.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance plans.
- Knowledge of PC operating systems including Radius, Commitment, and Plus.
- Basic level expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save capabilities, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a section, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check or printing worksheets).
- Basic level expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, modifying, saving, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, focusing, and altering text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving items, printing slide view as well as running a slide show).
- Basic level expertise in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, pasting, and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting objects, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet or printing capabilities).
