arenaflex's AWS IT Services Support team is a global organization that provides highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide. We're a team of experts who provide support for all used client applications, operating systems, email, VPN, mobile devices, and common collaboration services such as SharePoint and Exchange. Our customers engage us via phone, chat, in person, or trouble ticketing, and we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team and lead our global organization in defining the perfect customer experience. As an IT Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, developing and leveraging knowledge bases, and identifying ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement. You'll set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization and guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide
* Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
* Develop and leverage knowledge bases to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve customer satisfaction
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2+ years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools
* Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services
* Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
* Strong leadership and communication skills
