To achieve our ambitious goals, we're seeking a talented Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Development team. This individual will design and implement high-performance data systems that will help data architects and end-users across arenaflex to work with insightful data at scale. **Your Impact:** As a Full Stack Data Engineer in our Data Platform Development team, you will: * Drive improvements to make our research easier by designing and changing core data models and storage structures, while understanding the needs of our clients. * Create insightful data and metrics that are usable within a few moments of actual events occurring, and build streaming cycles for the resulting events and total data. * Model construction, storage, and access of data at extremely high volumes for our data lakehouse. * Improve designer efficiency and self-serve solutions by contributing parts to our stream data handling framework(s). * Own data engineering's framework as-code for provisioning services that allow our engineers to deliver mature software systems within a few hours. * Develop an elite cycle that will allow our systems to scale. * Coach other back-end engineers in the team and help them grow. * Develop and contribute to AWS high-scale deployed frameworks at the back-end. **We're Searching For Someone Who:** * Embodies our Enthusiastic values – is moral, adaptable, abrasive, compassionate, and surprising. * Can work together face-to-face 14 days per quarter, going if necessary to the center where the team is based. * Has experience with Python, Scala, or Java. * Has experience designing database items and writing social queries. * Has experience planning and standing up APIs and services. * Has experience with system design and building internal tools. * Has experience handling applications that work with data from data lakes. * Has at least some experience building internal Administrator sites. * Has great knowledge of and at least some experience with AWS (or, alternatively, has deep mastery in Purple or GCE and will learn AWS in a brief period of time). * Can proficiently pick an open-source or third-party tool to achieve what they need or, alternatively, can devise a quick and simple solution on their own. **Support for You, Professionally and Personally:** * Professional development: We believe that independence and trust are essential to engaging our colleagues to put forth their best effort, most innovative work in a way that aligns with their preferences, skills, and well-being.
