**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to Medicaid members, answering their questions, resolving their issues, and ensuring they have a positive experience with our program. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $18.00, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package.
**Responsibilities**
As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing one-to-one telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles
* Accurately documenting enrollment requests and status changes
* Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers wishing to apply for the program over the telephone
* Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency in the Iowa Family Care rules/guidelines and other related program policies
* Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes
* The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers
* The ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback
* The ability to achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment
* A high school diploma or GED
* A background check
* The ability to reside within 1 hour driving distance from Des Moines, IA
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment
* Knowledge of Medicaid programs and policies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Ability to navigate a computer and enter data accurately
* Excellent typing and grammar skills
* Reliable internet access
