Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to work closely with our team of experts to build and scale out AI and machine learning solutions. The primary objective of this role is to develop models that can predict and analyze data on hardware and software systems within our large server infrastructure, preventing outages and pinpointing errors. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting these models, as well as collaborating with colleagues to integrate purchased solutions into our production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop models using AI, Deep Learning, and other comparable technologies to predict and analyze data on equipment and software systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate purchased solutions into our production environment.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document models and solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
- Support processes related to the implementation of systems into production.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in AI with domain knowledge and experience in data-driven statistical modeling, discriminative techniques, feature extraction, and analysis, supervised learning.
- 2+ years of experience in a programming language such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in data extraction, wrangling, visualization, and analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong work ethic and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
- A passion for delivering exceptional products and services that exceed customer expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience handling data from multiple sources and through big data platforms (such as GCP, AWS, etc.).
- Experience creating scalable AI models and solutions.
- Experience investigating and implementing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, or other customized solutions that demonstrate significant impact in solving complex business problems.
- Experience optimizing existing data pipelines by investigating unstructured data sources and designing new features.
- Able to offer technical support and expertise to the broader team.
- A graduate degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field; or equivalent working experience.
- Knowledge of AI, Data Mining, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a connected field.
