You'll work closely with our pharmacy teams to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our organization. **Key Responsibilities** * Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records * Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow * Review and comply with arenaflex Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct * Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, personnel Pharmacist, and Store Supervisor * Register all related income on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required * Take customers to OTC aisle while possible to assist in finding merchandise * Handle telephone calls that don't require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians * Method (corrects and resubmits) guide claims for third-party application prescription services in a timely and efficient way, and perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager * Assist and support Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of prescription drugs * Keep knowledge of company asset safety procedures, and document claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not obtained), order mistakes or broken goods related to Rx capsules * May assist pharmacist in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of medical services, arenaflex healthcare clinics, and external vendors * Assist Pharmacy Supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining true relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities * Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with sufficient supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in appearance and condition * Comply with all company guidelines and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers * Complete unique assignments and other responsibilities as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Prefer six months of experience in retail environments * Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex * Prefer desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines * Prefer correct computer skills * Prefer knowledge of store inventory management * Prefer % certification **Preferred Qualifications** * Prefer experience in data entry, pharmacy, or healthcare environments * Prefer knowledge of pharmacy systems and software * Prefer experience with customer service and patient care **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * arenaflex offers a comprehensive training program for new hires, including on-the-job training and mentorship * Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company * Access to continuing education and professional development programs * Eligibility for tuition reimbursement and education assistance programs * Opportunities for advancement to leadership roles and specialized positions **Work Environment and Company Culture** * arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion * Opportunities for flexible work arrangements, including remote work and flexible scheduling * Access to employee assistance programs, including mental health resources and employee wellness initiatives * Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the company **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** * Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plans, including 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan * Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays * Employee discount program and access to company products and services * Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the company **How to Apply** If you're ready to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of arenaflex, we encourage you to apply today!
