About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will be the linchpin between blithequark's Redshift engineering, product, and operations teams and our esteemed customers. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving complex technical issues, facilitating the onboarding of large-scale customers, automating processes to enhance operational efficiency, and collaborating with various business and support teams to drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Customer Support: Work directly with some of blithequark's largest and most strategic customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Redshift Service, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Pre-Sales Support: Assist in pre-sales deals by providing technical expertise to facilitate the onboarding of large-scale customers, ensuring a seamless transition and high customer satisfaction.
- Process Automation: Identify repetitive processes and develop automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual errors, and improve customer experience.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business, support, and engineering teams to prioritize operational issues, communicate product roadmaps to customers, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Technical Leadership: Develop an in-depth understanding of Redshift Service architecture, customer use cases, and configurations to provide technical leadership and guidance to customers and internal teams.
- Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize feature development, ensuring that customer needs are met and aligned with blithequark's strategic objectives.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical customer-facing role or a similar position, preferably in the data warehousing or analytics domain.
- Strong technical background in data warehousing, analytics, and cloud computing, with a deep understanding of database systems and architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex technical issues and communicate solutions effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers, product managers, and engineering teams.
- Experience with SQL, scripting languages (such as Python or Perl), and cloud platforms (such as AWS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Redshift or similar data warehousing solutions.
