Role Description: Cybersecurity Trainee
The Mission
This is a full-time, 100% remote learning role. You don't need to be an expert yet—that’s what we’re here for! As a Trainee, you’ll jump into a hands-on "bootcamp" style environment.
What You’ll Do:
Learn the Basics: Get comfortable with the tools used to protect apps, websites, and office networks.
Find the "Leaks": Practice how to find weak spots (vulnerabilities) in software before a hacker does.
Build the Defense: Work with our team to understand how to create digital shields that actually work.
Stay Sharp: Keep up with the latest tricks hackers use and learn how to stop them.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
The Basics: You know what a firewall is and have a general idea of how the internet stays secure.
A "Detective" Mindset: You love solving puzzles and figuring out how things work (and how they break).
Tech Curious: You’re the kind of person who is always trying out new apps or reading about the latest tech trends.
Team Player: You can explain complex ideas clearly and enjoy working with others to reach a goal.
Eager to Grow: You’re ready to study, practice, and adapt in a fast-moving field.
Extra Credit: If you have a degree or a basic certificate (like CompTIA Security+), that’s awesome, but your drive to learn is what matters most!
