Position Summary: The Supply Chain Consultant V supports the Program Manager in executing supplier assessments, managing risks, and ensuring the resiliency of the supply chain within BlueForge Alliance’s mission to strengthen the defense industrial base. This role focuses on operational execution, supplier communication and data analysis, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and program objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and implement project plans for supplier assessments, aligning with the broader program objectives of quality and on-time delivery. • Oversee the execution of tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards. • Act as the primary point of contact for high-level supplier communication, building partnerships and addressing escalated concerns. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each supplier group, tracking progress and ensuring consistency with project timelines. • Prepare and present status reports to leadership, summarizing achievements, risks, and areas requiring additional support. • Ensure comprehensive documentation of supplier performance, gap identification, risk assessment, task completion, and lessons learned for future assessments. • Work with the scheduler to set up meetings with each supplier for key milestones, including initial visits, diagnostic reviews, and final presentations. • Prepare agendas for meetings, take detailed notes, and ensure all action items are captured and assigned. • Manage follow-up actions after each supplier meeting, tracking them to completion to maintain momentum. • Coordinate and schedule supplier meetings, working sessions, and site visits • Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and document action items • Track follow-up actions to completion and ensure accountability • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Strong ethical standards and integrity. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities. Education, Certifications, and Experience: • Master’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field. • 12 years direct experience in DoD Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other Logistics fields • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications are preferred. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. The anticipated salary range for this role is $97,600 - $146,400, based on factors such as experience, skills, required location, and available funding. This range reflects that base salary and does not include any possible bonuses or benefits.
