Description
Robert Half is searching for a Licensed Attorney with direct Conflicts Checks experience to assist an AmLaw100 Firm on a project-basis!
This position is Monday through Friday
Key Duties
- Negotiate between firm lawyers in resolving disputes over conflicts and waivers
- Resolves conflict of interest issues (to include obtaining necessary waivers and drafting ethics wall memos) related to the firmÂs clearance of new clients, new matters and lateral attorneys
- Analyzes information provided with new matter requests for compliance with firm policies and applicable rules of professional responsibility, and reviews and edits draft engagement letters for compliance with same
- Reviews client outside counsel guidelines and assists with assessment of firmÂs ability to comply
Requirements
Requirements:
- Actively licensed as an attorney in good standing in the same residing state
- High attention to detail and organization skills
- Candidates with previous experience as a Conflicts Analyst and/or supporting the Conflicts Department of a law firm are encouraged to apply
