We need a Head of Technology who can:
• Own our internal tech stack
• Build AI automation systems
• Eventually become an equity partner in a separate AI venture
This isn't a vague promise. It's the actual plan.

The Immediate Role
Head of Technology for Schneiders Saddlery:
Own the complete tech stack:
• Shopify Plus (e-commerce)
• Fulfil.io ERP (Python)
• BigQuery (data)
• AWS (infrastructure)
• React/Next.js (frontend)
Build AI automation:
• Customer service systems
• Inventory management
• Reporting and analytics
• Operations optimization
Work directly with:
• CEO (who builds POCs with Claude Code)
• Fractional CTO (wrote the book on AI-native development)
The Development Approach
100% of our code is AI-generated. You direct, review, and ship.
Required:
• Active Claude Code or Cursor user
• Systematic AI development process
• Experience building complete features with AI
• Ability to turn prototypes into production systems
Not required:
• Traditional "write every line by hand" development
• Detailed specifications before starting
• Permission to make decisions
The Entrepreneurial Path
Phase 1 (Months 1-12): Build and prove
• Own Schneiders tech stack
• Build AI automation systems
• Demonstrate they create real value
Phase 2 (Year 2+): Productize and scale
• Package internal tools for external sale
• Develop customer-facing products
• Build the AI automation business
Phase 3: Equity partnership

Compensation
Contract Phase (Months 1-3):
• $75/hour
• Flexible (part-time or full-time)
• Prove mutual fit
Full-Time (Month 4+):
• $150K base salary
• Up to 100% performance bonus
