You will have responsibility for:
• Manage the team, provide them with mentoring, technology leadership, and growth opportunities, rewarding team members for exceptional performance.
• Define the whole technology stack.
• Manage operations with agile methods that fit with the small size of the company and its big ambitions
• Track performance in order to maintain the productivity of the team. Work closely with data scientists and AI engineers, understanding where they are finding success, and where they need work.
• Improve the datasets, tools, and products by listening to ideas from the developers, advocating for innovative ideas, and finding paths to their implementation.
• Develop a technical strategy with clear goals, obstacles, risk analysis aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Represent the company, promoting new and innovative ideas, inspire trust in the products and underlying AI that the company is building, through an active involvement across the public spaces.
• Participate in the writing of scientific papers.
Qualifications
Must have: AI data science experience (min 3 years)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
Solid skills in AI, computer vision, data science, software development with good knowledge of TensorFlow, TS Lite, Python.
Experience in optimizing neural networks, pruning techniques.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results while working in a cross-functional environment
Solution driven thinking
Comfortable with working remotely, at least partially
