As part of our growth we are looking for an Associate Director, Pricing in the UK or US where you will be a Key influential member of the global commercial team, providing commercial support for the Business globally - and, in turn protecting the World’s most valuable brands and governments.

Position Summary & Objective
The Associate Director, Pricing is responsible for:
(i) the development, execution and management of Crane Authentication’s pricing strategy across all its product and service workstreams to: build and deliver
standardization, efficiency, policy, governance and reporting excellence; and
(ii) the creation of bespoke costing and pricing models for high value complex solution
opportunities to ensure competitive and value driven pricing aligned with growth, profitability, and governance objectives.
The position combines strategic leadership, commercial acumen, and deep market insight to influence customer value propositions, support major bids, and drive pricing excellence across the organisation.
Essential Functions Performed by the Position
Strategic Pricing Leadership and Improvement
- Create, implement and drive pricing architecture, strategies, frameworks, models and metrics which are commercially competitive and aligned with business growth and corporate governance goals
- Identify and leverage AI and digital tools to enhance pricing transformation and data quality
- Lead development of market based pricing intelligence
- Establish and lead cross functional pricing council to ensure alignment and governance
- Ensure pricing compliance across regions and product lines
Market & Customer Insight
- Monitor and report on competitor and market trends, building external networks and using market data to anticipate pricing shifts, regulatory impacts, and customer value drivers
- Deliver key metrics and margin performance expectations for business growth, aligned with divisional plan
- Conduct deep financial analysis on sales opportunities
- Translate market insights into actionable pricing recommendations for leadership
Commercial Partnership & Customer Engagement
- Partner with Commercial, Product, Finance, Operations and Sales teams to develop and embed pricing strategy and improve processes
- Build and present high-quality reporting, dashboards, and insights on cost models and pricing positioning for leadership team
- Lead financial and economic analysis for complex solution pricing, including bespoke costing models for opportunities ranging from £100k to £100m+
- Support bids and customer contract pricing negotiations
Team & Capability Development
- Develop pricing team members to build a culture of excellence, analytical rigour and
continuous improvement.
- Educate cross functional teams on pricing principles, value based pricing and commercial decision making
Position Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Expert excel level and financial modelling
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in price and /or revenue strategy covering B2B & B2G
product and service solutions
- Proven record of leading transformation programmes in a global environment
- Experience influencing C suite stakeholders and supporting executive level negotiations.
- Background in value based pricing, competitive pricing, and deal desk leadership.
