Position: AI Engineer
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)
Qualifications:
• 8 12+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering
• 3 5+ years of experience working with AI/ML technologies
• Strong programming experience in Python or Java
• Experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications or services
• Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise applications or digital platforms
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture patterns.
• Experience with Generative AI / LLMs
• Experience building AI-enabled APIs or services
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
• Experience with MLOps practices
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
Responsibilities:
AI Solution Design
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions that support digital platforms and business capabilities.
• Evaluate business requirements and recommend appropriate AI/ML technologies and approaches.
• Develop scalable and maintainable architectures for AI-powered systems.
Engineering Leadership
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on AI solution design and implementation.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and platforms.
• Establish patterns and best practices for implementing AI capabilities across systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with business, product, and technology teams to understand evolving requirements.
• Translate complex business challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Communicate architectural decisions and technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
Implementation & Quality
• Lead development and implementation of AI models and supporting infrastructure.
• Ensure high-quality engineering practices across development, testing, and deployment.
• Support performance optimization, reliability, and scalability of AI solutions.
