Job Description:
• Account Director
• We're Not Looking for Employees. We're Looking for Builders.
• Level Agency is hiring a performance-obsessed, detail-anchored Account Director—someone who knows how to move fast, lead client relationships with precision, and turn data into strategic momentum. You’re not here to coast—you’re here to drive outcomes.
• This Isn’t for Everyone.
• We’re building something rare: a place where growth, truth, and high performance go hand-in-hand. You’ll thrive here if:
• ✅ You love pressure, autonomy, and accountability.
• ✅ You can juggle a dozen details, then pitch strategy to a CMO.
• ✅ You treat AI and innovation as second nature.
• And you’ll struggle here if:
• ❌ You move slowly.
• ❌ Feedback makes you bristle.
• ❌ You need a step-by-step manual to do your best work.
• About Level
• We’re an AI-powered performance marketing agency—built for precision, designed to scale, and powered by a scientific mindset. At Level, we blend strategy, media, creative, and machine intelligence to deliver outcomes that matter. Every time. At scale.
• We’ve been named one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work and an Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Company. Our clients range from ecommerce to B2B, education, healthcare, and beyond.
• Your Role (and Impact)
• As an Account Director, you’ll sit at the epicenter of our client engagements—leading strategy, managing outcomes, and mentoring a small but mighty team. You’ll be the person clients trust, internal teams count on, and performance revolves around.
• You’ll:
• Own Strategy: Translate client business goals into performance marketing plans that win.
• Manage the Work: Set the pace, run agile standups, and keep teams aligned and accountable.
• Lead the Relationship: Be the voice clients count on for clear guidance and smart recommendations.
• Think in Numbers: Analyze performance data, ask the right questions, and bring strategic insights.
• Talk on Your Feet: Whether it’s presenting to a C-suite or fielding an unexpected question, you’re ready.
• Drive Growth: Spot new opportunities, pitch great ideas, and get buy-in to execute.
• Mentor & Manage: Be the lead on clients and coordinate resources for those clients.
• Master the Details: Keep budgets, invoicing, forecasting, and documentation sharp and accurate.
Requirements:
• Agency veteran: 5–7+ years in a digital agency, leading client accounts across paid media.
• Paid media fluency: You’ve managed campaigns in Google Ads, Meta, and other major platforms.
• Platform savvy: In-platform experience with GA, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and dashboards is second nature.
• Financial command: Comfortable owning budgets, forecasts, and client-level profitability.
• Strategic chops: Proven success driving performance in B2B, Financial Services, or similar verticals.
• Presentation-ready: A confident communicator—written, visual, and verbal.
• Deeply Analytical: You live in the numbers and make decisions that move the needle.
• AI-native: You don’t just dabble—you apply AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Perplexity to work smarter and faster.
• Detail-obsessed: You never let the small stuff slide and can juggle complex, high-volume accounts without blinking.
Benefits:
• $85,000–$125,000 depending on your level and experience
• Remote work from anywhere in the U.S.
• Unlimited PTO to rest, recharge, and do your best work
• 12 weeks of Paid Parental Leave
• 8 weeks of Paid Family Leave
• 12 Paid Holidays with 2 Additional Floating Holidays
• Summer Fridays (because high performance includes balance)
• Competitive Medical Plan Options tailored to your needs
• 100% Employer-Paid Vision & Dental Insurance
• Pet Insurance for your furry (or feathery) coworkers
• 401(k) Retirement Plan with 3% Employer Contribution – 100% Vested
• Performance Reviews Every 6 Months—we don’t believe in waiting a year to grow
• Career Advancement Opportunities mapped to clear outcomes
• Medical Travel Reimbursement
• $100 Monthly WFH Stipend for phone, internet, and electricity (paid quarterly)
• In-Person and Virtual Company Events—connection matters
• Peer-to-Peer Recognition Programs
• Concierge Support Services for personal scheduling and productivity help
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with access to mental health, legal, and financial counseling
