This person will manage and scale end-to-end VAT compliance covering registration, filing, and remittance while collaborating closely with our Tax Operations and Product teams to build scalable tax processes that support our rapid growth.In this role, you will:Work with our VAT Lead to develop and execute Anrok's global indirect tax strategy across multiple jurisdictionsManage and scale end-to-end indirect tax compliance, including registration, filing, and remittance, in conjunction with the Tax Operations team.Work with the product team(s) to implement scalable tax processes to support Anrok’s rapid business growth.Collaborate with external tax advisors in various time zones and maintain relationships with tax authorities.Help to support analysis and direction for ad hoc projects related to international indirect taxes.What excites us:You have a strong background with 4+ years of experience in international indirect tax, including researching technical issues as well as the registration and returns processes for US companies entering into global markets.You have experience with international SaaS and physical goods transactions, including return filings, voluntary disclosures, and invoicing.You enjoy engaging with customers and walking them through tax technical processes in a clear and thoughtful mannerYou love solving problems and always push for change and improvementYou have an entrepreneurial attitude and passion to build a business from the ground upStrong written and verbal skills paired with a solutions-oriented approach to customersWhat we offer:The equity upside of an early-stage startup with the product-market fit of a later-stage company.Work where you want: the Anrok SF office or wherever you call home.Medical, dental, and vision insurance covered 100%.One Medical membership covered, flexible sick benefits and more.Annual learning and development stipend for books, online courses, conferences, and a curious team to share your learnings with.Team offsites and gatherings at the SF HQ office throughout the year
