Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Customer Service Welcome and assist clients with the check-in and baggage registration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process. Handle baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve moving items from scales to conveyor belts, as well as lifting items from floor level to waist level. Practice security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure, ensuring the safety and security of clients and colleagues. Provide excellent customer service, responding to a wide range of inquiries regarding travel information, flight status, and baggage handling. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Essential Qualifications: Skills and Competencies Required for Success To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential, with a strong understanding of grammar, tone, and articulation. Proficiency in Spanish, both written and oral, is preferred. Entry-level computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. The ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. A flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation or travel industry. Familiarity with airline operations, including ticketing, check-in, and baggage handling procedures.
