• Focus on timely, trending content related to newly released or airing TV shows and movies (streaming, cable, and network)
• Jump on hot topics immediately following show premieres, finales, or movie releases
• Pitch original ideas and angles based on current trends, fan discourse, or critical reception
• Deliver clean, engaging, SEO-friendly content with minimal oversight
• Respond to editorial feedback and adhere to in-house standards
• Maintain flexible availability, particularly during high-traffic release windows
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience writing about film or TV for a digital publication
• Strong grasp of pop culture trends, fandoms, and entertainment discourse
• Exceptional storytelling and analytical skills—can contextualize and critique media
• SEO experience and comfort working in a CMS
• Familiarity with streaming and linear programming across all major platforms
• Ability to ideate and execute reactive content quickly
