An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to support patient care in a contract role located in Blue Springs, MO. This position focuses on delivering specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients, accurately monitoring cardiac rhythms.
• Utilize clinical judgment to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies including nicotine-free environment standards.
• Participate in orientation, including the initial five-day onboarding process related to the healthcare system and specific unit protocols.
• Float between units as needed and work every other weekend and holidays unless otherwise approved for time off.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Active RN license.
• Minimum of one year telemetry nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred; familiarity with Cerner is beneficial since the facility uses Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts).
• New graduates are not eligible for this position.
