Sectra is looking for Technical Engineers who are passionate about technology and want to support systems that directly improve patient care. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues related to enterprise imaging systems and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer environments are stable and secure.
Responsibilities
- Support customer environments by troubleshooting technical issues related to enterprise imaging systems
- Investigate system behavior by analyzing logs and identifying patterns that require longer-term solutions
- Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to coordinate fixes and system improvements
- Support new customer implementations by assisting with system configuration and basic integration work
- Work closely with hospital IT teams and clinical users to understand workflows and technical requirements
- Build long-term relationships with customers and serve as a reliable technical contact for your assigned portfolio
- Participate in an after-hours support rotation once fully trained
Skills
- Up to 5 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, engineering, or a related IT role
- Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Windows and/or Linux environments
- Comfortable working directly with customers and explaining technical concepts in a clear and approachable way
- Curious, motivated, and eager to learn new systems and workflows
- Able to work in the Shelton, Connecticut office a minimum of three days per week
- Experience with healthcare IT
