Role Overview
A client of ours is seeking an experienced System Administrator with hands‑on Vertafore AIM expertise. The ideal candidate will bring deep, practical experience with Vertafore AIM, and be comfortable stepping in quickly to support system administration, configuration, reporting, and document management.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Vertafore AIM on a day‑to‑day basis
Manage carrier input and ensure accurate system configuration
Run and maintain standard and ad‑hoc reports
Configure rating components, including:
Inputting data
Rating liability using simple spreadsheet lookup logic
Populating proposal and policy forms
Manage Document Manager within Vertafore AIM
Create, configure, and maintain VPI (significant portion of the role)
Take existing libraries and integrate them into API formats
Support new configuration efforts:
Selecting appropriate libraries
Ensuring proper alignment under proposal structures
Partner with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues and reduce operational bottlenecks
Compensation for this role starts around the $35/hr pay rate but is flexible based on years of experience and candidate background.

Required Skills & Experience
3+yrs of hands‑on experience with Vertafore AIM
Prior experience in an SIS Administrator or system administration role
Strong understanding of insurance system workflows
Detail‑oriented with a strong operational mindset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Epic
Exposure to Segment or similar platforms
Background in Property & Casualty insurance
Familiarity with multiple product lines, such as:
Storage products
Contractor casualty products
Multifamily insurance
Experience outside of professional lines (baseline knowledge acceptable
