Make a Difference in People's Lives as a Customer Support Representative
We are seeking a compassionate and patient Customer Support Representative to provide essential support to individuals enrolling in public benefit programs on behalf of Automated Health Systems. As a remote independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life while making a positive impact on people's well-being and peace of mind.
About the Role:
- Answer inbound calls and interact with customers in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner
- Provide information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws
- Assist customers with program enrollment and route them to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls
- Utilize multiple computer systems to access data and document information
- Make outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with customers
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong active listening skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in PC skills, including the ability to quickly learn new computer applications
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Your Home Office Environment:
- Computer with Windows 10 or 11, 8GB of RAM, and a hard drive with at least 500MB of free space
- Up-to-date antivirus software and high-speed, hardwired internet
- Dual monitors and a USB noise-cancelling headset
- Webcam for certification experience
