## Key Role Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing daily airport station operations to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. The Station Manager leads onsite teams, coordinates with airline and airport partners, and manages operational performance, regulatory compliance, and recovery during irregular operations.
## Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all station operational activities including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, aircraft servicing, and dispatch to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and schedule station staff; manage performance, training, and staffing levels to meet service and safety standards.
- Coordinate with airport authorities, ground handling vendors, security, and operational control to resolve irregular operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage station-level budgets, inventory, and resource allocation, including ground equipment and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., TSA, FAA) and maintain accurate operational and incident reporting.
- Serve as primary customer escalations contact at the station, resolving complex customer issues and implementing service recovery when necessary.
## Required Qualifications
- Minimum education and experience typically including a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant airline or airport operations experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate frontline personnel and manage shift-based operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with employees, customers, airport partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions.
- Proficiency with standard office software and airline operations systems; familiarity with operational metrics and reporting.
## Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, or related field.
- Prior experience managing a medium- to large-size airport station or similar complex operations environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities relevant to the local market.
