Position Title Sr. Funder  Location Work From Home MI, MI 48098  Job Summary The Funder Sr position exists at the bank for funding of the table funded mortgage loan production. Mortgage Fulfilment Operation includes Wholesale, Retail and Correspondent Lending business functions. This position is critical to the mission of the bank’s Mortgage Fulfillment Operation with a total planned production level for the year 2015 averaging 9000 monthly units. This position requires in depth knowledge and experience associated with the compliance requirement relative to Reg Z, X, B, Mortgage Disclosure Information Act, Home Ownership Equity Protection Act, Qualified Mortgage, Ability to Repay. The position requires in depth knowledge and experience associated with the compliance requirements relative to funding and reviewing a loan. This position has a very strong production based component with emphasis on time sensitive documents and customer service quality related to all loan funding. The ability to work well under pressure within limited timeframes to meet service level expectations is required. This individual will be responsible for reviewing information pertinent to the funding process and filter through required compliance issues relative to the funding process of a residential mortgage. Qualified individuals with have a good math aptitude, ability to multi task, and have an understanding of the fulfillment process steps that take place before funding. Proficient performance provides a strong quality rating required by regulators and investors, which supports a successful business relationship with the bank’s sales partners. The ability to apply and achieve successfully key business planning components while working through challenging environment is required. This position is critical to the mission of the bank’s security and compliance guidelines.  Job Responsibilities: - Time answering calls from other teams. - Time compliance review of title closing docs, MIP review , Reg Z, X, B Mortgage Disclosure Information Act, Loan Officer Comp, Home ownership Equity Protection Act, Qualified Mortgage, Ability to Repay, and all investor funding requirements, Government guidelines. - Time resolving issues, sending advisories, requesting documents, obtaining approval of compliance problems. - Staff member is expected to consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to their job as listed. - Staff member will not repeatedly act in a manner signifying intentional or willful noncompliance, nor exhibit gross negligence or a general disregard for compliance and regulatory standards. - Staff member must ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. - Staff member must complete all required compliance training on a timely basis. - Staff member will maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar’s internal compliance policies and procedures. - Staff member must take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies. - Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions. - Analyzes and resolves problems. ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. - Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: - Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent. - Minimum experience required: 1+ Years of closing and or funding background.
